David A. Jackson, 80, of Ferrisburgh

DAVID A. JACKSON

FERRISBURGH — David A. Jackson, 80 years old, of Ferrisburgh, Vt., passed away on March 22, 2020 at UVM Medical Center, with his daughters by his side.
David (Dave) was a man of few words, but he loved his family and his friends. He was very active, loved working for Denecker Chevrolet, and enjoyed a variety of activities such as fishing, boating, kayaking, hunting, shopping and tinkering on small engines.
Dave retired from Devine’s Sales and Service in Ferrisburgh, after working 40 years alongside his brother Earl. He was a farm tractor mechanic and worked with many local farmers.
Dave was predeceased by his wife Noella (Turpin); his parents Beatrice (Perkins) and William Jackson; three sisters and their husbands, Harriet and Ernie Gordon, Dorothy and Bob Tracy, Betty and Stanley Sumner; and three brothers, Russell, Billy and Earl Jackson.
Dave is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Laura and Ricki Marcelle and Lisa and Michael Shannon; One sister-in-law, Jeanette Jackson; two granddaughters, Heather Marcelle and Chris Hahn, Samantha and Craig Cota; three great-grandchildren, Colin, Hunter and Harper; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral and graveside burial services will be held on a future date.◊
