Connor Homes to leave Middlebury industrial park

MIDDLEBURY — Connor Mill-Built Homes (CMBH) is winding down operations at 227 Pond Lane in Middlebury, and that space will — for at least the next year — be rented by Silver Maple Construction.
Mike Connor, founder of CMBH, said Silver Maple is also purchasing CMBH’s manufacturing equipment. Eleven workers have lost their jobs as a result of the CMBH halting manufacturing operations. Connor and his wife, Linda, will continue to be involved in designing homes, but will rely on a network of builders to take the designs from the drawing board to reality.
Meanwhile, GoodPoint Recycling will continue to be a long-term tenant at 227 Pond Lane
