MONKTON — Do you have your live Christmas tree yet? Boy Scout Troop 525 is selling trees and wreaths in Monkton Ridge next to the Monkton Friends Methodist Church. They will be available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. again this Saturday and Sunday. Prices are: $40 for trees and $20 for wreaths. Stop in and enjoy “the smell of Christmas” and pick up a tree or wreath to decorate your home.
The Monkton Friends Methodist Church is hosting the Children’s Pageant on Sunday, Dec. 22, during the normal church service from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. There will be a Christmas Eve candlelight service on the 24th of December at 7 p.m. at the church. Also, the Dec. 29 service will give members attending a chance to meet and visit with others over breakfast in the church community rooms.
