Hunters feast this Saturday in Granville

GRANVILLE — The Moss Glen Grange will be serving up breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday, Nov. 16, in what they are calling a Hunter’s Feast. The meals are a welcome to this year’s hunting season, and open to all, particularly to hunters.
Breakfast starts at 6 a.m., possibly earlier, with eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, toast, sausage gravy and biscuits, French toast and more. Breakfast costs $5-$8.
Anyone who missed breakfast can stop by at noon for lunch of old-fashioned venison stew plus rolls, or maybe a bowl of chicken veggie soup and hotdogs for between $4 and $5.
Dinner starts at 5 p.m. with venison on the menu, along with baked beans, lasagna, honey chicken wings, barbecue chicken legs, or maybe just a slice of maple baked ham with all the fixings, finished up with a slice of apple pie and beverages. The cost is only $10 — cheaper than eating at home and no cleanup. Moss Glen Grange is at 82 Post Office Hill Road in the village of Granville. For more information call 802-767-4600.
