Otters cruise to 5-1 victory in field hockey

SPRINGFIELD — The Otter Valley Union High School field hockey team cruised past host Springfield on Saturday, 5-1, as Alia Edmunds racked up four goals.
Riley Keith also scored as the Otters improved to 4-1, and Morgan LaPorte and Livia Bernhardt picked up assists. Hannah Presch scored for the Cosmos, who received 16 saves from goalie Anna Church. OV goalie Ellie Ross made one save.
The Division II Otters will host D-III title contender Windsor on Wednesday.
