Pop-up art market to benefit Studio School

MIDDLEBURY — Next Friday, Aug. 23, an artist market will pop-up at Bundle on Main Street in Middlebury. The market will showcase the beautiful works of local artists, including Kristine Andrews (basketry), Kathy Clarke (pottery), Sean Dye (pastels), Danielle Gori-Montanelli (felt work), Catherine Manegold (pottery), Jane Ploughman (handbound books), Su Shannon (pottery), John Vincent (letterpress printer) and others. All proceeds will benefit Middlebury Studio School.
Of special interest, Mary Lower, an accomplished artist, will be offering portraits in the open space next to Town Hall Theater from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Additionally John Vincent will have his letterpress at Bundle from noon-1 p.m., and again from 4-7 p.m., for an interactive activity and to demonstrate his printing process.
Come support the Middlebury Studio School, talk to artists, and learn about classes you can take at MSS, and/or share your ideas for MSS. See you there.
