Michael Hollander, 63, long-time Middlebury resident
MIDDLEBURY — Michael Hollander passed away quietly in his home from cancer at about midnight Friday, July 26, 2019.
He was born in Massachusetts on Feb. 21, 1956. Mike was a 27-year resident of Middlebury. He spent 30 years in the military in various capacities, and also had a long career as an automotive technician at several dealerships.
He is survived by his wife Elizabeth; his son Nathaniel; four brothers: David, Bruce, Richard and Alan; and many other family members and friends. He also left many church family members at Victory Baptist Church in Vergennes where he attended services.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to military charities of choice, or to Victory Baptist Church Missions Program. A memorial service for him will be held at the church on Saturday, Aug. 10 at 11 a.m., with an informal reception afterwards.◊
