Letter to the editor: Another view on plastic bags issue

When we have something that is economically easy to use and inexpensive, always people who will not dispose of it properly after use will want to curtail its use. Plastic bags, for now are very simple to use for a store clerk and the purchaser, a godsend over paper bags always tearing, dropping your purchases in the store, automobile or at home.
Paper bags are also a disposable problem.
If we could dispose of gasoline and heating oil our environment would be cooler but is needed as plastic is. Since the Earth has been cooling beginning with the ice age we just have to live with it as we have since time began with changes.
