MIDDLEBURY — The Middlebury Economic Health Committee invites Middlebury business owners and managers to provide perspective and input on Middlebury’s economic health during a roundtable discussion and brown bag lunch on Thursday, Jan. 10, from noon until 1:30 p.m., at the Town Offices. If planning to attend, please RSVP to [email protected] by 5 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 7, with your name and the name of your business. Bring your lunch or pick one up on your way at a Middlebury business.
During the round-table discussion, please be prepared to discuss questions such as:
•  What are the current challenges facing your business?
•  What suggestions do you have for improving the economy and business in the Town of Middlebury, especially ideas that can be addressed by town government. For example, what tools, programs, services, or policy changes should the municipality consider to maintain and improve the economy of Middlebury and help businesses operate in Town.
•  If appropriate space were available in the downtown core for your business, would you relocate there? If no, why not? If your business is located in the downtown, have you ever considered moving to another part of town?
•  Are the Town and its departments supportive of your business?
•  Are you trying to grow or expand your business? If yes, is something preventing that growth?
