Golf pairs prevail in women’s event

MIDDLEBURY — The teams of Colleen Ringquist and Danielle Tomasi and Heidi Lanpher and Pam McGuire emerged victorious at this past Saturday’s Ralph Myhre Golf Course Women’s Invitational.
Ringquist and Tomasi earned the top Low Gross score in the tournament. Finishing second was the tandem of Josie Herrera and KJ Meckert, followed by Dana Cassidy and Kathy Kemp in third and Harriet Parot and Liza Sacheli in fourth.
Lanpher and McGuire posted the best Low Net result, with Eva Mastalos and Gisele Lafleche taking second. Diane Neuse and Mia Politano were third, and Maureen Quinn and Sheryl Libardoni took fourth.
In Bill Davidson Thursday Men’s Golf play last week the trio of Deem Schoenfeld, John Davis and Paul Politano prevailed. The threesomes of Joe Bartlett, Don Dayton and Charlie Grigg, and Mike Adams, Dayton Wakefield and Paul Butt finished second and third, respectively. Bartlett shot the day’s low net score.
In Friday Evening Mixer play the next day Dale White, Jill Jesso-White and Jay Best comprised the winning team, with Jim Bryant, Charlene Bryant and Bernie Andrews taking second.
