Festival on-the-green raffle winners

MIDDLEBURY — The 40th Annual Middlebury Festival on-the-Green last week was a big success, drawing crowds to musical performances and other entertainment from Sunday through Saturday, July 8-14.
Organizers this week announced this year’s Festival on-the-Green raffle winners:
•  Two-night Stay at Whistle Pig Farm: Bonnie Morrissey.
•  Acrylic on wood painting by Prindle Wissler: Rebecca Leger.
•  Magic show by Tom Verner of Magicians Without Borders: Megan James.
•  “242 Years as a Nation, 40 Years as a Festival” quilt made by Pat Zeliff: Robert Meagher.
•  Gift basket of Vermont products: Jennifer Dilworth.
Proceeds from the raffle benefit Festival on-the-Green and allow it to continue the tradition of presenting this free, family-friendly music series for one week each July. Long-time Festival co-organizer Patricia Boera, on behalf of her crew, offered thanks to all who supported this year’s raffle.
Boera also noted that, while the 40th Annual Middlebury Summer Festival on-the-Green is now a happy memory, there is still a small collection of lost and found items that need to be picked up. These will be at the Middlebury Parks & Recreation Office on Creek Road for the next two weeks. If any of the items belong to you, they can be claimed there:
Blue metal water canteen, plastic water bottle with “Girl Scouts Rule” sticker, first aid kit, Croft & Barrow black zip-up jacket (large), Karen Scott navy zip-up jacket (size 2X), Slinky, white phone charger, single hoop earring, bracelet with metal tree design, assorted sunglasses (four pairs) and regular eyeglasses (three pairs), green baseball cap with Maine Fiddle Camp design, blue baseball cap with “802VT” design and two single keys.
