Police seeking man who grabbed teen jogger in Middlebury
Middlebury Police are looking for a man who allegedly grabbed a teenage girl by the arm on South Street Extension at around 4:40 p.m. on Thursday, May 31. Police said the girl was approached by two men in a grey/green four-door vehicle. The passenger in the vehicle asked her for directions, and he allegedly grabbed her arm while she was responding, according to police. Fortunately, she was able to break free of the man’s grip, police said.
The passenger is described as being was in his 30s, white, and was wearing no shirt and had short brown hair and brown eyes, according to police. The victim said the driver resembled the passenger, but was wearing a plain white T-shirt.
No further information on the vehicle or people involved is available at this time and the investigation continues, according to police. Anyone with information on the case should call Middlebury Police at 388-3191.
