ADDISON — The Addison Town Historical Society will host its next meeting on Sunday, March 25, at 3 p.m. Their guest will be Craig Allen, who will talk about the American Civil War and Vermont’s part in it at the Addison Volunteer Fire Station at 44 VT Route 17, just west of Addison 4 Corners
With past relatives involved in the conflict Allen has a personal interest and knowledge of the topic. He also has artifacts from the era, including letters. He’s anxious to share with what he’s learned and hear what other Addison folks can add about their Civil War past history. Participants are encouraged to bring their own Civil War artifacts to share.
