ADDISON COUNTY — Otter Valley defeated Mount Abraham in the only local boys’ basketball game not postponed in the latter half of last week.
OTTERS VS. EAGLES
On Wednesday senior guard Josh Letourneau sparked a third-quarter surge as the Otters knocked off Mount Abe, 73-61. Letourneau poured in 18 of his game-high 34 points in that period as OV stretched a 33-29 halftime lead to 57-45 after three, and held serve from there. Dylan Mackie added 16 points for the Otters.
Jackson Counter led the Eagles with 19 points, followed by Logan Rodriguez (13) and Dustin Whitcomb (12).
The Eagles’ Friday game at Winooski was postponed; no makeup date was immediately announced.
The Otters’ Saturday game at Brattleboro was moved to Monday evening.
TIGERS
The Tigers’ Friday game at Colchester was moved to Feb. 17.
COMMODORES
The Commodores’ Friday game at Fairfax was postponed until Feb. 5.
