Mount Abe school board seeks public input through online survey

BRISTOL — The Mount Abraham Unified School District Board is interested in connecting with members of the five-town community.
The MAUSD Community Engagement Committee last week send out an email seeking input from residents of Bristol, Monkton, Lincoln, Starksboro and New Haven. They ask community members to go online to http://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WSYBVNM to provide feedback.
“Since we are now one school district serving all five towns as well as Mt. Abraham Union Middle/High School, hearing from our diverse community is more important than ever,” school officials said. “Your unified school board may want to connect with you on topics including general vision for our schools and students, budgets, legislative updates, trends in education, and more. Please share your thoughts about how you would best like to engage with your school board.”
The survey should only take a minute to complete, they said. Officials are asking for a response by Dec. 15 — this Friday.
