Note of appreciation: United Way thanks concert helpers

On Saturday, Oct. 7, local band Madaila performed to an enthusiastic crowd of all ages while celebrating United Way of Addison County’s 50th Anniversary kick off at the Middlebury Snow Bowl amid damp skies, beautiful foliage and chairlift rides.
United Way of Addison County would like to express our gratitude for the Addison Independent’s excellent coverage of our Madaila on the Mountain event. In addition, we would like to thank our terrific sponsors; People’s United Bank, Otter Creek Brewing, Woodchuck Hard Cider, Champlain Valley Equipment, Vermont Natural Ag Products, and IPJ Real Estate.
Special thanks also to; ACTR, Bet-cha Transit, Addison County Chamber of Commerce, Casella, Middlebury Ambulance Service, MCTV, Middlebury College, Middlebury College Snow Bowl and Alpine Ski Team, SunCommon, Two Brothers Tavern, and Black Falls Disc.
And a very special thanks to Lisa and Andy Mitchell of Middlebury UndergrounD (MUD), and our young performers and their families; Expensive Reality, Squig Heart and West Road Rockers.
