OV field hockey rallies at Windsor

BRANDON — Otter Valley Union High School field hockey won its opener last week on the road, but the Otters’ home opener on Tuesday vs. Mount Anthony was postponed by rainy weather. Mount Anthony instead will visit Brandon this coming Wednesday.
On Sept. 1 the Otters debuted with a 2-1 victory at Windsor. After the Yellowjackets scored a first-half goal to take the lead, OV scored twice in the second. Katie Coolidge tied the game with an assist from Alia Edmunds at 21:54 of the second, and Edmunds netted the winner, from Morgan LaPorte, with 3:09 remaining. OV goalie Ellie Ross made 10 saves, while Madi Leduc had four for Windsor.
