Chipman Inn regifts chamber prize money

MIDDLEBURY — The Chipman Inn won the Pot of Gold at the Addison County Chamber of Commerce’s recent business networking event. The Pot of Gold is a promotion the chamber offers at its monthly mixers that creates a fun atmosphere and helps drive attendance. If a chamber member’s name is drawn from the pot and they’re in attendance, the member can win up to $500.
Luckily for Chipman Inn owner Chris Bullock, he was present when the inn’s name was drawn from the pot — he won several hundred dollars. Bullock donated his winnings to the Moosalamoo Association, on whose board he serves.
Located in Ripton, Chipman Inn is an historic 1828 nine-room country inn in the Green Mountain National Forest. The Moosalamoo Association provides stewardship for Vermont’s Moosalamoo National Recreation Area, which comprises 16,000 acres in the heart of the Green Mountain National Forest.
