Happy Mother’s Day! What do you love & appreciate about your mom?

Mother’s Day is this Sunday, May 14, so we asked some kids to talk about what makes their mother special.
These messages are from Mrs. Lee’s 2nd Grade class at Mary Hogan Elementary School in Middlebury.
“I love my mom because she makes my bed. She love me and lets me watch tv and play video games.”
“Mom is Wow upside down. She dose evrthing for us and our siblings/sibling. She takes care of the cooking, the safty and everything like that and she has a bunch of mouths to feed. I know a family who has 12 or maby 17 mouths to feed we don’t stop to think about how much our mom dose.”
“What I love about my mom is that she drives me places, she gives me hugs and kisses when she leavs for work and the best thing about my mom is that its not just me she takes care of it’s evry body. Like my siblings and dad. I love my mom for a reason.”
“I love my mom because mom lets me go outside to play. Mom cuk me supper. Mom tuck me in.”
“I love my Mom because when I ask my mom to play catch she say yes. She does my hair makes me food. She is awesome. I LOVE MY MOM.”
“I love my Mom because she plays with me, she helps me and she brings me places. I Love my Mom.”
“I Love my mom because when I ask her to play catch she will stop what she is doing and come and play catch.”
“I Love my Mom because she takes care of me wen I am sad. Mom also makes my favorite foods. I Love my Mom!”
“I love that she helps me with my homework, and she cooks my favorite food stuffing. She also helps me with my hair and she makes me happy.”
“I love my mom because she got us a cat. Gats me what I need. Givs me hugs.”
“What I love abuot my mom is she helps me with my home work and she snagles with me.”
“I love my mom because she makes me dinner and gives me what I need. Also she gives me and my brother allowance.”
“I l my mommy because she loves me and we color together we’ll hug. We will walk my dog and play all day and have fun.”
“I love my mommy because she orders my food and because she gives me hugs and kisses.”
“What I love about my moms is that they take care of me. My mom is thankful because she takes me to school, sports, visets for my dad. I love my mom because they make supper.”
