Tour du Mont Blanc slideshow to take place at Starksboro library March 29

STARKSBORO — The public is invited to join Deb Van Schaack Wednesday, March 29, 7-9 p.m. at the Starksboro Public Library for a slideshow about the Tour du Mont Blanc, a hiking trail that she hiked with her daughter Hannah in the summer of 2014.
One of Europe’s oldest and most classic hiking trails, the Tour du Mont Blanc encircles the Mont Blanc Massif, passing through France, Italy and Switzerland in 110 miles, and includes 6.2 miles total of elevation ascent and descent. Along the way, the trail meanders through some of the most jaw-droppingly beautiful scenery imaginable, and provides the opportunity to meet interesting people from all over the world and stay at lovely mountain huts.
