Literary magazine to hold release party March 28

VERGENNES — After receiving submissions of photos, stories, poems, artwork — and even a song — from across all towns in Addison County, Zig Zag Lit Mag is ready to release its second issue.
In celebration, the editing board has invited the public to attend a release party as a chance to build relationships between local writers and artists. Zig Zag was founded to support these artists, and encourages their readers to do so as well, with their motto: Read Local. Write Local.
The magazine will be free for all to read online at zigzaglitmag.org and there will also be a limited supply of print copies for sale for $5 each at the Bixby Memorial Library in Vergennes, Recycled Reading in Bristol and the Vermont Book Shop in Middlebury. The event, free to the public, will be held at the Vermont Book Shop on Tuesday, March 28, at 6 p.m. The evening will consist of several readings and performances by the local contributors of the issue. As always, there will be coffee and donuts.
