Lynn that ran in the Jan. 23 Addison Independent and as a guest editorial in the Vermont Standard stated that “the biggest factor in the decline in manufacturing is automation, not jobs going overseas.” This has frequently been cited in the news media recently.
My question is who is manufacturing the automation equipment? Is this not creating jobs or is all automation equipment manufactured overseas?
