In addition to the above honors, Jane Pinson was chosen as the RNESU Outstanding Teacher for grades PreK to 6, along with Kathy Sherwin as the RNESU Outstanding Teacher for High School for the 2016 UVM Teacher of the Year award.
Superintendent of schools Jeanné Collins said, “Too often, the work of teachers and support staff who go the extra mile goes unnoticed. RNESU has an excellent and dedicated faculty and staff and it is a pleasure to highlight the cream of the crop and honor them for the difference they make in the lives of students.”
RNESU is dedicated to the development of character, competence, creativity and community and would not be able to uphold this mission without individuals like those being honored this year. We thank the honorees for their continued contributions and commitment to our students and communities.
