Brewer to tell story of beermaking at Chimney Point
ADDISON — On Sunday, Aug. 28, from 2-4 p.m., Kevin Hanson, brewer and owner of Hogback Mountain Brewery in Bristol, will be in residence on the porch at the Chimney Point State Historic Site in Addison, for a “Blast from the Past” afternoon. The program is included in the museum admission of $5 for adults.
Hanson will talk with visitors from 2-4 p.m. about brewing beer and the story of his path from home brews to his new microbrewery. He’ll tell you how Bristol history inspired him with the names of his brews. Samples as well as bottles to purchase will be available for adults.
