Opinion: Scheu offers balance, dedication

We have good candidates for state representative in this election and for governor as well. But one is truly outstanding. I want to recommend Robin Scheu for state representative.
In her position as executive director of The Addison County Economic Development Corporation, Robin has been responsible for helping many, many small businesses get the resources they need to grow and thrive. These business owners and their employees are often our friends and neighbors. Robin will bring the type of fiscal understanding and responsibility that makes possible the funding of the many great nonprofits doing work in Addison County. We need that balance, and we need the dedication and integrity Robin brings to her job.
She has been a strong advocate for Middlebury, and is already hard at work to secure grant funding for local businesses during the upcoming rail and bridge project. I hope you will join me in voting for Robin in this important primary.
