MIDDLEBURY — At a June 7 assembly held in the Memorial Sports Center, many Middlebury Union High School students were given awards to recognize their achievements. A story in an earlier edition listed awards recognizing academic, arts and community service honors.
The honors awarded for athletic achievement were:
•  Mike Ringey Softball/Baseball Sportsmanship Scholarship: MaKayla Foster and Liam Smith.
•  Dud Phinney Sportsmanship Award: female, Lauren Bartlett; and male, James Whitley.
•  Paul Gonzalez Athlete of the Year Award: female, Hannah Buttolph; and male, Nicholas Beauchamp.
•  Dorey Cup Presentation: female, Katherine Moulton; and male, Dace Eaton.
