Lincoln school to host French festival March 4

LINCOLN — The Lincoln Community School will celebrate the culmination of their study of French culture on Thursday, March 4, from noon-2:30 p.m. Families and community members are welcome for all of the festivities.
From noon-1 p.m., a family-style French luncheon will be created and served by the Nouveau Culinary Group. For a reservation, call 453-2119 or email [email protected].
A Festival of French Culture runs from 1:30-2:30 p.m. It features a runway show of the latest fashions from the newly established LCS Maison Haute Couture; a reenactment of the Tour de France (with both bikers and spectators, of course); a French intensive agriculture exhibit of micro-greens and the industrious worms that helped grow them; a display of French architecture (chateaus, castles and monuments); and a dance performance (ballet) and contra dance for all, called by Lausanne Allen and Rick Ceballos.
