MUHS girls’ lacrosse suffers first loss of season
SOUTH BURLINGTON — Host South Burlington on Friday dealt the Middlebury Union High School girls’ lacrosse team its first loss of the spring, 13-6.
The Tigers fell to 4-1 and will look to bounce back at home on Monday vs. Essex. The Rebels improved to 6-2.
The Tigers had an advantage of 23-19 in shots on goal, but Rebel goalie Danielle Boucher stopped 17 shots. SB standout Sarah Fisher also scored five goals and set up a pair of scores.
Alexis Ouellette paced the Tigers with two goals, and goalie Baily Ryan made five saves.
