Tuesday morning collision slows Route 7 traffic

 
MIDDLEBURY — A traffic collision near Middlebury Beef Supply choked traffic for a couple of hours this morning on Route 7 south.
Preliminary word from authorities is the accident involved an Addison County Transit Resources (ACTR) passenger bus that pulled out of Middlebury Beef and collided with a truck traveling on Route 7. Several people were taken to Porter Hospital with injuries. Middlebury police officials at 3:15 p.m. were still preparing a press release about the incident that they said would soon be provided to the media.
