Hannaford welcomes 21 into honor society

MIDDLEBURY — The Patricia A. Hannaford Career Center inducted 21 students into the National Technical Honor Society on Wednesday, March 19. The goal of the society is to see that deserving technical center students be recognized and that people of the community become aware of the talents and abilities of the young people and adults who choose technical education pathways to a successful future.
The ceremony was held in the Middlebury Union High School auditorium. NTHS Adviser Marie Eddy conducted the ceremony, aided by current NTHS members Stephanie Anderson and Brie Heath. Program instructors Phil Teer, Lisa Rader, Ultima Danforth, Deb Gauthier and Steve Small presented the students with their certificates. Director Lynn Coale and Eddy presented the students with their honor cords and pins. A dessert reception followed, enjoyed by newly inducted members and their families and friends.
The following are the 2014 National Technical Honor Society inductees: Ashley Boise, Medical Professions; Emma Castle, Addison Repertory Theater; Fiona Cole, Addison Repertory Theater; Amanda Cousineau, Human Services; Alysia Coyle, Human Services; Jordan Fleming, Diesel Power Technology; Liam Godfrey-Jolicoeur, Design & Illustration; Michael Gyukeri, Addison Repertory Theater; Siobhan Haggett, Design & Illustration; Hannah Hobbs, Medical Professions; William Kittredge, Design & Illustration; Austin Lafayette, Diesel Power Technology; Kasara Lear, Medical Professions; Taylor Paquette, Medical Professions; Piper Patterson, Addison Repertory Theater; Matthew Schildkamp, Design & Illustration; Joanna Tatlock, Design & Illustration; Emily Tichonuk, Design & Illustration; Miles Waldron, Design & Illustration; Danarose Weaver, Design & Illustration; and Michael Winslow, Diesel Power Technology.
