IN 2007 THE Middlebury Community Players took the show “Swingtime Canteen” on the road to Bristol’s Holley Hall because their usual home, Middlebury’s Town Hall Theater, was in the middle of a restoration project. The musical, a recreation of a 90-minute USO show during World War II, was a smash hit and the Players have revived it for the THT MiddSummer Nights Theater Festival. The featured players, lower left, are Meg Guilfoy, Liz Cleveland, Julie Banach, Lisa Powell and Nikki Juvan. The show will be performed on July 19, 20, 21 and 22.
