Letter to the editor: Criticism was unwarranted

I was surprised to read the letter to the editor in last week’s Addy Indy from Marianne Lust of Lincoln who was critical of the efforts of Tim Parsons at Middlebury College.

Judith Irven recently participated in a group walk-about at Middlebury College to see their new “rewilding” initiative, whereby they are gradually reducing the hours they devote to lawn mowing, and also shrinking the total lawn area.
