MIDDLEBURY —New England author Mary Beth Stevens will read her new picture book, “Tippy Finds a Home,” at a special afternoon children’s story time on Saturday, Sept. 28, at 3 p.m. at the Vermont Book Shop. Tippy, her canine inspiration, will make an appearance as well. They will be joined by representatives from Homeward Bound, Addison County’s Humane Society, who will be raising awareness and funds, and collecting donations for the animals in their care.
