VERGENNES/BRISTOL — The Vergennes Lions Club, with help from Scout Troop 539 and the Vergennes Rotary, on Feb. 13 held its 11th Annual “Food from the Heart” food drive to benefit the Vergennes Community Food Shelf and the St. Ambrose Food Shelf in Bristol. In Vergennes, 40 “banana boxes” of food and $1,340 in cash donations (a record) were collected.
