New Green Street ‘third space’ opens in Vergennes

Big Heart Social, a queer-forward third space, hosted its grand opening in Vergennes this past Saturday.

Neighbors of a proposed 32-unit apartment building that would be located near the intersection of Middle Road and Route 7 in Middlebury are concerned the new structure would be too big and would add traffic to an already congested area.

Gov. Phil Scott ordered the closing of bars and restaurants across the state effective 2 p.m. on Tuesday. It his administration’s latest effort to curb the spread of the coronavirus in Vermont. Establishments must remain closed through April 6. In the mea … (read more)
