VERGENNES — The Vergennes City Council on Tuesday voted unanimously to terminate City Clerk Morgan Kittredge about three months after she was hired to replace longtime Clerk Joan Devine. The action was taken after a closed-door session, and both City Manager Dan Hofman and Mayor Jeff Fritz described the decision as a personnel matter about which they could provide little detail.
