Women’s lax picks up two more wins

The Middlebury College women’s lacrosse team picked up two more one-sided victories in the past week to improve to 6-0 and protect their No. 1 ranking in NCAA Division III.

The Middlebury College women’s hockey team will make its 12th trip to the NCAA Division III final four this weekend after defeating Nazareth University, 1-0, this past Saturday in a quarterfinal matchup. Next up is a familiar foe — Amherst.

The No. 4 Middlebury College women’s hockey hosted No. 12 Nazareth in an NCAA quarter-final on Saturday. After beating the Golden Flyers, the Panthers will face NECAC nemesis Amherst in an NCAA semi-final this weekend.

Crews are nearing the end of constructing a new residence hall at Middlebury College.

The Middlebury Board of Trustees last month increased the comprehensive fee for the undergraduate college by 4.5%, bringing the total undergraduate cost of attendance for the upcoming academic year to $90,756.

The Middlebury College baseball team lost three of four recent games, one played at home and three in California on the Panthers’ spring break trip. Midway through their journey westward, Middlebury’s record stood at 5-6.
