The Addison County Chamber of Commerce recognized several area businesses and individuals for excellence this past Thursday during its annual meeting at the Vergennes Opera House.
“I remember watching (Mendy’s) close and inside of me a voice was saying, ‘I have to fill that space,’” Lisa Phelps recalled during a recent interview.
