Private airstrip in Lincoln draws lieutenant governor’s attention

The lieutenant governor’s team organized the meeting after a group of around a dozen Lincoln residents sent emails to state officials raising concerns earlier this month.

For more than three decades, Vaneasa Stearns has been somewhat synonymous with the Lincoln General Store. 

A recent decision by the town of Lincoln to permit a “restricted landing area” for aircraft on a private residential property has drawn criticism from neighbors and other residents who believe the permit application should have undergone public review.
