MONTPELIER — An emergency regulation announced this week requires insurers to cover COVID-19 diagnosis and treatment at no cost to its Vermont customers Gov. Phil Scott and the Department of Financial Regulation (DFR) on Wednesday said the new rule makes commercial insurers waive cost-sharing requirements — such as co-payments, coinsurance or deductible requirements — for the diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19.
