The students met with Speaker of the House Jill Krownski and Lt. Governor John Rodgers while hosting a mock House floor debate.
This year the Vergennes American Legion Auxiliary Unit 14 will sponsor four 11th-grade students as delegates to Green Mountain Girls State, June 22-27.
The Vergennes American Legion Auxiliary Unit 14 will sponsor Megan Mentzer, Tryphene Miguel, Sophia Johnson and Jing Williams when they attend Girls’ State from June 23-28 at the Randolph Campus of Vermont Tech.
