Letter to the Editor: Reality check from a lifelong member of the dairy industry

“I challenge Mr. Schubart to name a farm in Addison County that isn’t operated daily by the owners with the owners putting in 10-15 hours a day of work.”

This letter is addressed to state Sen. Steven Heffernan regarding his “no” vote on the recently passed Senate Resolution 13.

Wow! A lot going on in the U.S.A. and Vermont these days!

With the daily, mostly negative, rhetoric that we seem to be bombarded with, I would like to mention some positive things that have happened over the last two years.

I was disappointed and discouraged to see a dark money fear-mongering advertisement for the Addison County Republicans in the Addison Independent Election Guide last week.
