Officials look at funding technical education

VERMONT — Some education officials believe a recent, hotly debated reform effort skipped over a key part of Vermont’s public school system — career and technical centers. “They said, well, we’re not trying to get to that right now. We’ll get to it eventually. And now’s the time,” said Penny Chamberlin, the director at the Central Vermont Career Center in Barre.
