Cross-country runners compete in Essex

ESSEX — Middlebury Union High School runners posted a number of top-30 finishes at Saturday’s Essex Invitational cross-country meet, at which athletes from Mount Abraham and Vergennes also posted respectable results.In a field including many Division I schools and more than 500 runners, the top Tiger girls’ athletes finished in a bunch, with Ella Landis, Seina Dowgiewicz and Beth McIntosh finishing 21st, 22nd and 23rd, respectively.
