Middlebury residents on Tuesday voted 416-185 to affirm a June 25 selectboard decision to give Vermont Gas Systems a free easement to funnel natural gas to St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church.
Middlebury residents next Tuesday, Oct. 1, will have a chance to either affirm or reject their town selectboard’s decision to grant Vermont Gas a free land easement to extend its natural gas pipes to St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church at 3 Main St.
