Letter to the editor: Thanks to ‘No Kings’ crowd

After a tense week of ICE raids, demonstrations in many cities, and threats to protesters from some law enforcement entities and the president, the demonstrations were not only massive and peaceful, but also joyous.

On July 4, 2022, six young women aged 22-24 experienced a taxi ride that terrified and traumatized them.

I strongly urge Vermont to pass and implement legislation requiring the Secretary of State to ensure constitutional eligibility for public office, including the office of the president.
