MIdd UCC childcare center moves forward

The “Red Clover Childcare Center,” as it will be called, will open later this year.

After a two-year break due to Covid, the Middlebury Congregational Church will once again host the area’s annual “Messiah Sing” that attracts hundreds of singers and players from throughout Addison County and beyond.

This year’s 98th Bazaar features a wide variety of items for sale on the building’s two levels.

Aided by $560,000 in donated seed money, the Congregational Church of Middlebury has agreed to establish and host an independent, non-profit child care center providing slots for 24 children ages six weeks to three years old.

The Congregational Church of Middlebury is holding its annual Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 6, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
