College commencement honors, encourages ‘People of the Eclipse’

Four years after the COVID-19 pandemic canceled and drastically altered high school graduation exercises across the globe, members of the Middlebury College Class of 2024 finally got a chance to walk across the stage in front of friends and family at the college’s commencement ceremony this past Sunday. 

Among those receiving honorary degrees from Middlebury College at Sunday’s commencement was Joe Castiglione, The Voice of the Boston Red Sox for the past 41 years.
