Letter to the editor: Chief’s decision understandable

I was momentarily stunned to read that George Merkel has given his notice, but I totally understand why he has.

I cannot begin to tell you how disappointed I am with our governor and his flunkies with regards to the non-masking of Vermonters.

There is a growing program in the U.S. that is guaranteeing both breakfast and lunch to all public school students: Universal Meals.

Today I saw that a local town has elementary students who terrorize the classrooms, including the teachers, and get away with it. Huh? You are kidding me, right?

I have been in the food service for many a year. It is with interest that I notice that restaurants seem to have trouble keeping help.
