The news comes just weeks after city clerk/treasurer Betsy Sullivan announced she is moving on as well.
The current clerk’s last day is Oct. 2.
The newest Vergennes city clerk not only brings extensive office and accounting experience, she should also be a familiar and friendly face to many city residents.
